There's a bit of a company ethos behind our candles - they have to be Eco and cruelty free because we respect the planet and love animals. We’re not going to bore you with the downsides of paraffin (a petroleum derivative), lead wicks or the hundreds of chemicals in many other candles you might buy, read up on it if you’d like to. Instead, we want to focus on why our candles are great.
Our candles are hand-poured in Yorkshire using 100% Soy Wax which is completely natural, is a renewable resource and doesn’t give off loads of that nasty black smoke. We don’t add Palm Oil because we like rain forests and Orangutans. The oils and fragrances we use are vegan and haven’t been tested on animals (you’ll notice there’s a theme here). We go out of our way to find top quality fragrances which don’t contain parabens. Even the wicks we use are made from cotton and are dipped in the same soy wax that we use to make the candles. We can also promise that there are no dyes, and there is absolutely no lead in our wicks.
